These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Twinning at twinningpets.com (the “Service”).

Twinning is operated by an individual using the display name Echo. TODO: confirm legally required identity details before launch.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Twinning.

1. The Service

Twinning lets you upload an owner photo and a pet photo, choose an outfit template, and receive AI-generated matching portraits.

Slogan: Match the look. Share the love.

Showcase and template images are AI style inspiration. Real results may differ in likeness, pose, lighting, and outfit detail.

2. Eligibility (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old to use Twinning.

You may not upload photos of anyone under 18. We may block uploads that appear (with high confidence) to depict minors. If age is uncertain, we rely on your consent checkbox and may still refuse the upload.

3. Accounts and guest use

You may start as a guest. Some features (e.g. keeping purchases across devices) may require an account (email magic link and/or Sign in with Apple).

You are responsible for activity under your session or account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use at support@twinningpets.com .

4. License to use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial enjoyment — creating and sharing matching portraits of you and your pet.

You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer (except where law forbids this restriction), resell, or systematically exploit the Service or its templates.

5. Your photos — ownership and limited license

You keep ownership of the photos you upload, to the extent you own them.

You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display those photos solely to generate the matching-outfit images you request, to moderate for safety, and to operate and secure the Service — as further described in the Privacy Policy.

That license ends when we delete the originals (within 24 hours, and sooner when generation succeeds) or when you successfully request deletion, except for copies we must retain for legal, security, or accounting reasons (typically without the images themselves).

You represent that:

You are 18+ and everyone depicted in human photos is 18+.
You own the photos or have permission from every person depicted.
Uploads do not infringe others’ rights (privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark).
You will not upload images of minors, or sexual / exploitative content.

6. Generated images

Subject to these Terms and successful payment where required:

You may download, keep, and share your unlocked HD images for personal use (including social sharing).
Free outputs are watermarked previews and remain subject to our branding and these Terms.
We may retain a limited technical interest in outputs as needed to host, watermark, unlock, and purge them on schedule.
Commercial merchandising, advertising, or resale of outputs at scale may require our prior written consent.

AI outputs can be imperfect. Likeness may vary. See §9 (disclaimer).

7. Consent checkbox (create flow)

Before uploading, you must accept (unchecked by default):

8. Acceptable use — prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

Upload photos of minors, or anyone who has not consented
Upload others’ photos, celebrities, or public figures without clear rights and permission
Use the Service for face recognition, surveillance, impersonation, or harassment
Generate or attempt to generate sexual, pornographic, hateful, violent, or illegal content
Interfere with the Service, bypass rate limits, or abuse free preview allotments
Scrape templates, prompts, or user content
Misrepresent AI outputs as unaltered photographs where disclosure is required by law
Violate any applicable law

We may refuse, delete, or block content or accounts that violate these rules.

9. AI output disclaimer

The Service uses third-party AI image models. Results are probabilistic.

Outputs may not perfectly match faces, pets, outfits, or templates.
Showcase images are AI style inspiration and may differ from your results.
We do not guarantee fitness for a particular purpose (e.g. print quality, commercial campaigns).
Re-style requests are new generations. Exact localized edits and unchanged surrounding details cannot be guaranteed. The included allowance and remedies are described in §10.

10. Free previews, payments, refunds & re-styles

Free previews: Each guest/user receives a one-time allotment of two (2) watermarked preview images. This lifetime allowance does not reset daily. You may review these previews before deciding whether to pay. There is no prepayment requirement for those previews.

Prices: One HD portrait costs USD $4.99. The USD $14.99 Christmas pack includes five HD portraits, including the selected portrait; unused pack credits expire on 1 February 2027 at 00:00 UTC. Any applicable taxes and the total are shown at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe. No subscription is created.

Refunds & Re-styles

Included re-styles: A $4.99 single HD order includes one free re-style, for one original portrait and one new version. Each of the five portraits in a Christmas pack includes one free re-style. The allowance belongs to the original portrait; its re-styled version does not receive another allowance. Each re-style uses the same template, with an optional pose or background adjustment. A change of template is not included. Paid-order re-styles do not consume your lifetime free-preview allowance.

Original uploads are deleted under our Privacy Policy. To request a re-style, you must upload your authorized owner and pet photos again. A re-style is not a guarantee that the requested detail alone will change; likeness, pose, clothing details and other parts of the new image may vary. We do not promise unlimited revisions or a result matching every subjective preference.

Support: You may choose one store credit for a portrait in a different template, or submit a refund request for Echo to review. Store credit is offered first, but acceptance is optional. It is a one-time alternative-look entitlement, not cash. Accepting or using store credit does not remove non-waivable consumer rights. Refund requests are not approved automatically.

If an image fails: We will remake a failed paid image where feasible or refund the affected order. No extra payment is required for a technical delivery failure. This does not promise an exact likeness or unlimited revisions.

Technical failure: If a paid order cannot be delivered because generation fails, an HD file is corrupt, or the purchased output is unavailable, we initiate a full refund to the original payment method through Stripe. Bank processing times may vary. The service does not charge another payment to retry delivery. Content-policy rejections, user deletion and normal disclosed expiry are not automatically classified as technical failure; contact us for review.

Delivered HD and dissatisfaction: Before any HD download, you may request a refund review. After any HD download, voluntary refunds are unavailable; technical failures and statutory rights remain covered. We normally offer the alternative-look credit first. A refund requires manual approval unless applicable law gives you a different remedy. Statutory rights take priority over this policy.

Refunded orders lose their HD entitlements and unused order credits. Repeated webhook deliveries do not issue a second refund or duplicate credit.

11. Intellectual property

Twinning name, slogan, site design, templates, prompts (as assembled by us), and software are owned by us or our licensors.
Outfit templates are licensed to you only for use inside the Service.
Third-party trademarks in user uploads remain with their owners; do not upload brand-infringing content.
Feedback you send may be used by us without obligation to you.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data, including short retention of originals (within 24 hours), no face-ID templates, and processor list (Netlify, Supabase, Stripe, image providers, optional PostHog).

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your images as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create legal risk, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, licenses to use the Service end; provisions that should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) survive.

14. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers; in those places, disclaimers apply only to the extent permitted.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. certain consumer rights).

16. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your uploads, your misuse of outputs, or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

17. Governing law and disputes

The laws of the State of Delaware, United States, govern these Terms, subject to mandatory consumer protections. TODO: confirm Delaware, USA, with the operator and counsel before launch.

Please contact support@twinningpets.com first so we can attempt informal resolution. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, it may be brought in the state or federal courts of Delaware, USA, subject to any mandatory rights to use another court. TODO: confirm venue and enforceability.

No arbitration agreement or class-action waiver is added by this draft.

18. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will update the Version stamp (e.g. 2026-10-22.v1) and “Last updated” date. Material changes may require renewed consent or prominent notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where allowed by law.

20. Greeting cards and phone wallpapers

VERIFY — Counsel review: Keepsakes use your paid portrait. They do not include a new portrait generation. A greeting card costs $1.99 and includes one 5 × 7 inch printable PDF and shareable PNG. Phone wallpapers cost $1.99 and include iPhone (1290 × 2796) and Android (1440 × 3200) PNGs. Card + Wallpaper costs $2.99. Each $14.99 Christmas pack includes one card design and one wallpaper design, redeemable once each while the source portrait and order remain valid.

Review your watermarked preview, greeting and signature before purchase. Greetings are limited to 80 characters and signatures to 40, on one line each, and are screened for inappropriate content. Layout files are final digital goods. Before downloading, you must expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that downloads are non-refundable, except where required by law or for faulty files. This acknowledgment does not remove statutory consumer rights. A faulty or missing paid keepsake file qualifies for technical-fault refund handling. Other requests remain subject to review.

The PDF page measures 5 × 7 inches. The card layout is 1500 × 2100 pixels; print quality depends on the original portrait. Phone lock screens vary by device and settings; image placement leaves space for the clock and bottom controls. Personal greetings and generated files follow our private storage and deletion policy.

Christmas pack and HD download policy — 22 October 2026

VERIFY — Counsel review: The $14.99 Christmas pack is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It includes five HD portraits, including the portrait selected at checkout, plus one holiday e-card and one phone wallpaper design. Keepsakes use purchased portraits without additional AI generation. Each of the five portraits includes one free re-style on the same template, with pose or background adjustments; a re-style does not add another re-style allowance.

You may request a refund review before downloading any HD portrait from the order, without first using re-styles. Before each HD download, you must expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge: “After downloading HD, this order is non-refundable, except where required by law or for faulty files.” Downloading any HD portrait ends voluntary refunds for the entire order. Technical failures and statutory remedies remain covered. Refund requests remain subject to review; they are not approved automatically.

How portraits are made

Portraits are AI-generated from your photos. Facial features and pet details may differ slightly from the originals. Each purchased portrait includes one free re-style using the same template. Exact likeness and isolated edits cannot be guaranteed. Upload separate photos of yourself and your pet; a photo of you together is not required.

21. Printed gifts

Printed gifts are not on sale yet. This section is the rule we will use when checkout opens. Digital portraits are unchanged: you can request a refund before downloading any HD portrait. After any HD download, the whole digital order is non-refundable, except where required by law or for faulty files.

Printed gifts ship only to addresses in the United States. We do not ship to Canada, the European Union, or the United Kingdom, and we will not send those orders from a United States warehouse. We cannot show the sales tax, VAT, or import charge for those places before you pay. A parcel that crosses a border unpaid can be charged to the recipient on delivery. We do not offer that.

The price of a printed gift includes printing and standard shipping inside the United States. It does not include sales tax. The amount we pay our print partner for the blank, the print, and shipping is not a tax-inclusive price for you. If your state requires sales tax, it is added before you pay. The carrier does not collect sales tax or customs on a delivery inside the United States.

After you pay, you have 2 hours to cancel and receive a refund of that printed gift. We contact Printful only after those 2 hours. We do not send Printful an order, not even a draft, during that time. Once printing has started, we cannot cancel because you changed your mind, chose the wrong size, or think shipping is too slow.

If the item arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted, or the package is lost in transit, we will reprint it or refund it. Contact us within 30 days of delivery, or of the estimated delivery date if the package never arrives, and send a photo of the problem. You do not have to mail a defective item back. A change of mind, a wrong size, or a wrong color is not a defect.

If you refuse the delivery, the address cannot be delivered to, or the package is left unclaimed, you still pay for the product and the shipping out. We do not reprint it. Sending it again is possible only if you pay the return and the new shipping. If a return is not claimed within 30 days, it is not refunded.

Inside the United States, printing usually takes 2 to 5 business days after we send the order to print. Standard delivery usually takes another 3 to 4 business days. These are estimates, not a guaranteed arrival date.
